Privacy Policy

AbhiTrade ("AbhiTrade", "we", "us") operates a simulated ("paper") trading platform for the Indian stock market at abhitrade.com and via our Android/iOS mobile app. No real money, brokerage account, or real securities are ever traded, held, or transferred through the platform — all trading is virtual.

Account information. When you sign up we collect an email address and, depending on how you register, either: (a) your Google account name, email and profile picture (via "Continue with Google"), or (b) a username and a 6-digit PIN you choose yourself after verifying your email with a one-time code.

Payment information. If you purchase a premium plan, payment is processed directly by Razorpay, our payment gateway. We receive and store the plan you purchased, the amount, and Razorpay's order/payment IDs for our records — we do not receive or store your card, UPI, or bank details; those are handled entirely by Razorpay.

Trading activity. Since all trading is simulated, the orders, positions, and portfolio data you generate are virtual and are stored solely to run the paper-trading feature and show you your history and performance.

Technical data. We automatically log standard technical information (IP address, browser type, device type) for security, rate-limiting, and abuse prevention.

We use one essential session cookie and a small number of browser-local-storage entries to run the app. See our Cookie Policy for the full list and what each one is for. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

• To create and secure your account, and let you sign in.
• To operate the paper-trading simulation (orders, positions, portfolio, watchlists).
• To process premium subscription payments via Razorpay and grant access to paid features.
• To send you account-related email (OTP codes for verification/sign-in).
• To detect and prevent abuse (rate limiting on login and OTP requests).

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers needed to run the platform: Razorpay (payment processing), Google (OAuth sign-in, if you use it), and our email delivery provider (sending OTP codes). Each only receives what it needs to perform its function.

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Security → Delete Account. When you do, we deactivate your account immediately and remove your email, username, PIN, and any linked Google account from our systems, so you (or anyone else) cannot sign back into that account. We retain your historical paper-trading records (orders, portfolio, subscription history) in de-identified form for our internal records and legal/accounting purposes. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone by you — contact support if you believe this was done in error.

Passwords and PINs are stored as salted bcrypt hashes, never in plain text. Sessions use signed tokens and, for the mobile app, single-device session enforcement. We use HTTPS for all traffic to and from the platform.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
